
“CBS Sunday Morning” wins Daytime Emmy Award for Excellent Morning Present
“CBS Sunday Morning” has received the 2021 Daytime Emmy Award for Excellent Morning Present, it was introduced on Friday.
Host Jane Pauley accepted the award introduced by the Nationwide Academy of Tv Arts & Sciences (NATAS), throughout the forty eighth annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, broadcast on CBS.
“This has been a difficult yr for all of us, so this award is much more welcome than common, on condition that – as with all our distinguished opponents – it has been a troublesome time to do a tv broadcast,” Pauley stated.
This was the fifth time “Sunday Morning” has been named the winner on this class since 2013, which was the primary time the sequence was nominated for Excellent Morning Program.
“Sunday Morning,” which debuted in 1979, has been the #1 Sunday morning information program for 18 consecutive tv broadcast seasons. It airs on Sundays starting at 9:00 a.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.
